Semi Finals for Post mid term finals

To all those schools who have entered the football competition 2018-2020

Please distribute this information to those in your school who are involved in orgainising Sciath na Scol activities

Please read all information carefully

The Sciath na Scol Football fixtures will commence on week beginning 9^th September. (ALL FIXTURES HAVE BEEN EMAILED TO SCHOOLS LAST WEEK)

This is the second year of the two year cycle, however it has been necessary to make a few changes to some sections 

*There have been No changes made to the girls singles sections. 

**So GF1, GF2, GF3, GF4, GF5 and Urban GF1 remain the same

*Due to some schools pulling out some changes have been made to all other sections

There are different closing dates for each section and there will be no exceptions to these in order for the smooth running of the finals.

Pictures and team lists will have to be submitted prior to or on the day a school qualify for a final. (see notes)

Pictures must be submitted in jpeg format at least 1kb in size, and team lists in word format, numbered vertically…… NB… they must be emailed as attachments and each file named as your school name. 

Finals will be held on weeks beginning 21^st October and 4^th November (dates may be changed)

Those schools with earlier closing dates… ie teams with straight 4 and 5 teams and those with (4 teams and a crossover semi) we are hoping to play pre midterm, (if we have enough days in which to play)

We are aiming for Most doubles sections to play finals pre mid term, ie Df1, Df2, Df3, Df4, Df6, Df7 and maybe gf2 and f6 – (all subject to change).

**The AGM will be held on Wednesday 18^th September in Rochestown Park Hotel at 7.30pm sharp and each school is requested to have a representative at this meeting. 

Please return any football cups won at last years competition clearly labelled

Please submit any motions if you have them by September 11^th
