Hurling and Camogie finals programme 2019

On Thursday 23rd at 11.45  DH1 boys hurling will go ahead and at 12.45pm girls camogie will take place.   There was some confusion on this. 


All Schools have been notified of time, date and venue of their final. 

The finals will be from May 20th to May 27th and will be played in Páirc Ui Rinn.

Further details will be sent to schools. 

*Please note if your team and or supporters are arriving by bus, the bus is to drop children off at the designated drop off point

 on the Páirc Ui Rinn side.  The bus must then leave and come back when the children are ready to board the bus.  Please have a teacher

obtain the bus drivers phone number so he/she can call him when the match is over and the children ready to leave the venue. 


Matchday Regulations

  • The following regulations have been set by Coiste Chontae Chorcaí and our fixtures programme is expected to honour them. Your help is appreciated.
  • Only 3 passes per school to playing area and this will be strictly enforced.
  • The area immediately in front of main stand to be kept clear.
  • All games will be played on a marked pitch on Road-side of Páirc Uí Rinn.
  • Warm up areas from 20m line to 45m line on the pavilion side of pitch on both ends of main pitch.
  • 6 Subs may sit in dugouts.
  • Mentors MUST remain in Marked Technical Areas at all times. No sideline-running. The referee may banish any offenders outside the perimeter!
  • One mentor only on stand side.
  • Line up will be in front of main stand.
  • Presentations on main stand.
  • Any photography after the game to take place behind goal lines in Grandon’s corner.
  • No lap of honour, climbing on the fencing  or “Klinsmans”.
  • Please respect the pitch as it is being heavily used at the moment.

Cead isteach gach lá:        Daoine Fásta; €5.  Paistí:  €2    Family Ticket: €10  (2 adults +2 children)           Please  collect  the  children's  money  in  advance  and  pay  on arrival.

 

Each  school  is  responsible  for  its  own  supporters  who  must  be  supervised.  This is particularly important in the stand and toilet areas.  People are prohibited from bringing glass bottles into the stadium.

Jerseys (including those of playing substitutes) must be numbered.  Use the numbers as written on the team list.

Each team is allowed 6 subs plus the team. A  set  of  medals  for  the  team  and  6  substitutes  will  be  provided  for  both  winners  and  runners-up.  Additional medals can be purchased by each school at a cost of €5 each.  Please email the office and let us know if your school need extra medals.

A video recording will be made of each game. Individual  copies  can  be  purchased  from  Mr.  Brendan  Barry  Tel  021/4883573.  Please submit your school crest to abb@eircom.net  

All schools to bring their own First Aid Kit

Pictures taken by photographers at finals may be published in the local papers.




Closing date for semis etc of Hurling/Camogie is next Wednesday 8th May. 

No results after this date.  

If your school is in a final please send your team photo and numbered team list to office@sciathnascol.com

Finals will be weeks of 20th May and 27th May. 

Fixtues to be fixed on May 8th.  We will have limited days and no changes can be made once finalised.
